Seeking details on Givi V46 center lens / top removal

I've searched and found many discussions on this, but have not seen these details...

I'm trying to install the Admore light kit into a V46 topcase, and am having trouble getting the center lens / top off for the round lights in the center.

I have removed all screws (one right on the edge, in the red plastic, two further in, in the black plastic) and even the screws for the side lenses, for a total of 5 screws removed. I even took out the document holder, which is two more screws, but they were not holding anything. The only screws visible on the inside now are the two holding on the lid straps.

I have pried the center lens/logo piece up off the tabs in the case, and GENTLY bent it back.

And it sure seems like there is something still holding the top in place. With visions in my head of shattered GIVI plastic scattered around, I'm hoping some wise person here can help.

How much pressure is expected to be put on the center red plastic, prying it off the edge of the case?

Does the top 'hinge' up, or slide off? It looks like there are a couple of locking tabs back near the hinge side of the case - is there a locking tab or two at the front that will just pop loose before the plastic breaks?

Is there a strategic pry point I'm missing?

With the screws all out, it is still tight enough I've GOT to be missing something obvious.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance anyone may offer.

Best Regards,
T2T

Thanks, but I am working from that... was hoping to get more detail than what is available in that.

It seems I have a curse, and it is holding... I went out and tried it one more time, from a different angle (the 22nd such... ) and it popped right off. No idea what was so tight before.

Go figure.

Thanks anyway, all...

Best Regards,
