Bracket To Relocate Top Box On 012 Vee

The top box on our 012 Vee was too far forward for my wife, and I. I had my buddy make a bracket to relocate it 2.5" rearward, it came out perfect !! even had it powder coated. It mounts on the original holes for the latch, the goes back, and bends down the thickness of the material, the straight, to make the latch the same height as original.

He should be a fabricator, instead of a cop...

I have the same issue with my Wee and your solution is excellent. At first read of your project I didn't know how you relocated the 2 spool pieces back the same distance as the latch bracket, but the photos show how 2 new holes were drilled and the spools moved back as well. Did he use a press brake to make that bracket? Good job and thanks for sharing.
