My new GPS

Hey check it out! I installed a Lowrance GPS Globalmap Baja on my V.

the gps reciever is on a quick release just like the unit itself so it can all be removed in about 30 seconds, tossed into my tank bag and I dont have to worry about it being stolen.

GPS

The unit is water resistant, shock resistant and proven time over time in Baja. this unit rocks!

I've had one of these in the last 4 vehicles i built. i like em cause they make you think about your route. these style units are for mapping with a street style map, it wont figure turn by turn so it makes ya think.

I'll be waiting for the new Garmin zumo 550 - looks pretty incredible, though quite expensive. Can do XM radio and traffic (and possibly weather, depending on the site you're looking at), MP3s, etc. in addition to user-loadable maps like Garmin's topo stuff, plus all the obvious POIs, etc.

I hear it also gives your bike ABS and beams out EMF to stall cars that are threatening to left-turn in front of you, as well ...
