How do you wire in Lockhart Flush Mount III Turn Signals?

I have extra
Lockhart Flush Mount III Turn Signals.
and I was thinking of mounting them
on the stock DL650 hand guards.

They look like they would fit nicely and they could act as
running lights AND turn signals. All I need to do is drill a small hole to
run the wire.

Here is the problem.
There 3 wires so they can act as running lights AND turn signals.
A black wire, a red wire, and a black wire with a white line. I don't now how
to wire it in. The stock signals had two wires and so do the LED signals
I have on it now.

Further...if I do go on with this what do I do with the LED
signals I have on it now? Can they be all spiced together in parallel
with out problems? And if they can what good are 2 sets of turn
signals lol?

The long story if how I got them....
I dropped the bike bit back
wile I was in Ohio visiting a friend
So I put some Lockhart Flush Mount III Turn Signals on order
They were taking so long to come in that I had to leave for Chicago
with out them. I put on some nifty LED turn signals (which ones are bright er I can't tell you but they seem to work fine and I could not keep
riding with out singnals). Well I have the Lockhart's now
and I don't want to waist them.

Each of the front turn signal connectors will have a black wire with a white stripe. That is the ground side of the lamp (although it doesn't really matter since they are wired in series). Connect that wire to the black wire of the flush mount turn signal. Connect the red wire of the flush mount turn signals to the remaining wire (solid black on the left and light green on the right).

You will have a difficult time getting the running lights to work, I think, because of the way the turn signals are wired. They are wired in series and switched past the lamps. Since the lamps on the Lockhart-Phillips turn signals don't provide separate grounds for the running light filament and the turn signal filament (that is normal for lamps) even if you provide 12 volts at the other wire it will still be switched with the turn signal. What I would do is connect the red wire and the black /white wire on the Lockhart-Phillips units together (CHECK THE WIRING ON THE PACKAGE TO MAKE SURE THE SOLID BLACK WIRE IS GROUND!) so that the turn signals will just be brighter.

I put them on my bike last weekend, and they do work great. I got just the standard turn signals without the running lamps, and it took about an hour to install them both. At this time I have just mounted them with double sided tape (Scotch 3M Acrylic Mounting Tape available at auto supply stores) instead of drilling new holes in the fairing. If I decide I don't like them I can put things back the way it was without extra holes in the fairing. So far I definitely like them though.

The RED = Flasher lights
The BLACK = runnung lights
The BLACK with the WHITE stripe= ground

NO matter what order I conect them I can't get them to run as running lights. I can get one filament to flash or I can get two filaments to falsh.

I don't understand.

Neaver mind.
i found the problum.

Use a horn lead wire to attach a couple accessories to your bike, such as heated grips. There's an available plug behind your radiator with orange wires, taped with black electrical tape against one of the wire bundles. Loosen your radiator, find the plug (a flashlight helps), and us an x-acto knife to cut the electrical tape holding the plug to the wire bundle. A needlenose pliers helps to push the male extension onto the female plug. The horn lead, Part #36852-06G00will fit the plug and accepts spade lugs. About $7.
