Covering bolt holes with Plastic Fasteners

I removed my passenger pegs and was greeted by four nice fresh holes where dirt was bound to end up. Not to mention the holes themselves were pretty ugly.
I went to Lowe's and bought some Plastic Fasteners

And slapped the buggers in-

Then figured the little holes for the swingarm spools needed plugging too-

The fastener ends do not make complete contact with the metal so the holes can dry out if moisture gets in. More a friction/pressure thing.
.80 for a bag of two- not bad. I think it looks far better. They fit perfect and all holes are covered. They look like they were meant to be there.

Only 347 miles- picked it up last week.

I just finished removing all the darn stickers today.

And I'm waiting on my Givi parts and Madstad. The wait is killing me.

Then you'll need to put the passenger pegs back on. The givi rack bolts to the lower hole behind the passenger peg on the bracket that holds the passenger pegs on.

Unless you use a different brand rack I guess.
