I was messing around on another wesite and came across a link for these mirrors - just thought I would share as I have never seen these before, mirrors that utilize RAM mounts.
Perhaps some of you that do some serious off roading would like these.
Flippin' brilliant! The best part (as far as I'm concerned) is the fact they can be adjusted without any tools. Looks like something worth investigating further.
Problem is theft???... would you have to remove them constantly when you park somewhere public where you'll be away from the bike?... Great idea, though.
My experience with RAM mounts is stuff mounted on them shakes like crazy. I made solid mounts for my GPS because I couldn't read it with the RAM mount.
That's odd: I have used Ram Mounts since around 2002 (on my ultralight airplane, in my car and on my Strom since 2006) and use them specifically because they do absorb vibration. I wonder what we are doing that is different?
Ok i have these mirrors, and i have no affiliation with the seller but these are great mirrors. I have them on my DRZ and i have the Aprilia Tuono mirrors on my dl1000. I have been extremely impressed by the dbl takes and i have a bunch of miles on them road and off.
When i was ordering the mirrors the seller sent them out quickly but i realized i might not get them quick enough and was on my way to Moab. I called him and he actually offered to send me another set of mirrors (for free) to the hotel to meet me when i got there.. Thats service..:hurray:..
I'm looking at these mirrors too.
Regarding the theft issue, I'll probably do the same thing as my RAM GPS mount: replace the big thumb nut and bolt with an allen head bolt for daily urban use (I commute). Keeps the amateurs at bay. Then, when headed out of town, swap in the stock RAM hardware. Easy.

I put these on my wee and been using them and they work great. My bike has a habit of laying down on trails at times and am hoping these mirrors survive these "naps":mod2_sleep1: if I fold them in when on the trails.
