Full Leo Vince w/o fuel modifier

Is anyone running a full Leo Vince system on a Wee without any fueling modifications? I love the sound of the Leo's on my Super Duke but had nothing but problems trying to get it to run right with a PCIII. I finally just took the PCIII off and it runs better, but not perfect. The fueling on the stock Wee is perfect and I really don't want to mess that up by changing the exhaust. Just looking to hear the proper sound of a V twin.

I have the full system on my K7 with no other changes. I have not noticed any issues with the bike. The weight loss is substantial and the sound is more than worth it.

Thanks for the feedback. I remember someone posting once that they had a full non Leo system and noticed a lean spot at certain RPMs before adding a PCIII.

Just installed a Full Leo Vince on a K6 wee. Other having to mod the Center Stand and adjust the skid plate with a plasma cutter, I have had no issues with the fueling on it. Huge weight savings. Dont kid yourself though, Its only a 650, you are not going to pick up 8-10 HP. Sounds great though. NO pcIII, no problem.

What specifically did you have to mod on the center-stand? and which center-stand did you have?

Thanks,
Mick.

I think I posted that awhile back. Before the PCIII and tuning, there was some lean spots that cause slight hesitation off idle and between 3-5k rpm. The sound is way better than stock, but since modern bikes are already pretty lean, when you allow more air in or out, it needs more fuel to compensate. HP increased 5hp @6Krpm before and after dynotuning.

The most difficult part about installation of either pipe or PCIII is getting the connectors on the throttle bodies, after that the rest is easy, and there are maps available from Leo Vince or PC

The proper sound is with the stock muffler, rather than making the damn thing louder, which infringes our rights and freedoms.

I'd love to take my wee off-road on some ATV trails in Maine. I can't, because of asshats that run loud bikes. Yes, ATVs, which are loud and destructive are allowed, but not motorbikes ... all because of some clowns that have to compensate for god-knows-what by making a bike louder than it need be.

A biker without full-face protection should only ride as fast as the slowest hornet.

Wow...it takes all kinds, some like stock, some aftermarket, some like aftermarket that is loud, some not, why not group all aftermarket products in one bucket, that makes it easier to talk about, let's outlaw all modifications to all bikes and cars to make our country more quiet, safe and of course for freedom!

How do you know how loud someone "needs" their bike to be? I'm not one of the "loud pipes save lives" posterboys, but after finding a black bear sow and two cubs in my driveway three times in the last week, I'm starting to think something a little louder than stock might be a good idea - surprising a mama bear is a good way to get munched, and the stock Wee is rather quiet, especially at low R.P.M.'s. I'd also like to shave a few pounds off my bike, and as I understand the Leo Vince muffler is noticeably lighter than stock.

Sorry to hear about the illogical and inconsistent laws where you live, but, well, the proper target for your wrath is the idiots who *made* the laws, *not* your fellow bikers. Just my $0.02.
