Electrical Tie-In

I've seen an electrical fuse box on the web that is activated by the ignition switch. This particular fuse box mounts under the seat and has two power wires: one from the battery and another that ties in to the ignition that will activate a relay.

I'm wondering where should I tie in the relay so that it is activated by the ignition?

EasternBeaver makes a hit for this. Eastern Beaver - VStrom Specific - Fuse boxes

Jim has it tie into the brake light.

He also makes one for other fuse boxes, seen here: Eastern Beaver - Fuse box wiring kits. I guess you could tap into that same brake light line.

The trigger wire is not to the brake light but to the power wire to the brake light switch. Don't forget the ground. The fuse block needs a fused hot wire, an ignition on trigger wire and a ground wire. The brown wire to the tail light that runs in a sheath down the left side of the under seat tray can also be used for a trigger wire.
