WeeStrom lowering links questions

Now that I've installed a custom seat for my recently acquired DL650, it's too tall. Maybe 2" lowering bars needed? I assume this will lower the seat 2"? Anyway, would appreciate references for a good product and ant other relatated suggestions.

Thanks.

Lower it more than 1-1/8" and the tire can hit the inside of the fender. Lower the rear more than the front and you may not like the handling. The steering gets slow and the front gets light at high speeds from aerodynamic lift.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Listen to this man, he speaks truth and wisdom.

"I am enthusiastic over humanity's extraordinary and sometimes very timely ingenuities. If you are in a shipwreck and all the boats are gone, a piano top buoyant enough to keep you afloat that comes along makes a fortuitous life preserver. But this is not to say that the best way to design a life preserver is in the form of a piano top.
I think we are clinging to a great many piano tops in accepting yesterday's fortuitous contrivings as constituting the only means for solving a given problem." - R. Buckminster Fuller
