fuel tank quick disconnect

Didn't find anything on this site searching via google, so apologies if this has been covered somewhere already...

Does anyone have any recommendations for a fuel tank quick disconnect for the Wee? I found these, which look built like a brick outhouse... what diameter is the Wee's fuel line?

I believe your bike already has one. My '07 does. The owners manual may cover it. The service manual must surely cover it. I've had my tank off a few times and it isn't too difficult.

That's correct.
Lift the tank and squeeze the little doohicky to release the fuel line. The hard part is making sure it's seated correctly when you push it back on. If it's not fuel starts leaking down onto the back of the motor.

Adam -- nothing good
Actually, right now I'm mainly doing brakes and suspension. New front suspension and Tokico 4-pot calipers early next week, then an Ohlins shock for the rear sometime in early July

There are only 3 things to disconnect to remove the tank. The vent, the electrical connector, the fuel line quick disconnect.

It depends on the model. That vent is actually the drain from the gas cap well. Tanks on bikes with charcoal canisters also have an actual vent hose rather than a vented gas cap.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
