Free when you walk off the range with them!!! Seriously though, if you were to ask $25 a piece depending on what you did to them paint/locks/connectors etc. Knowing I can get them free... makes me shake my head at what prices I've heard/seen. Check this thread for prices, Mr Ed did his Wee up with the cans. I remember the thread, but I haven't gone past his first post in a while.

Cans.......

I just received a pair of 40mm cans........they are new, paid $25 each......with shipping, was $70 out the door. Maybe paid too much?? But still alot cheaper than $300 a set (aluminum panniers). I'm going to modify them to make them lighter.

I paid 16$ each for mine over the summer at my local Military Surplus Store.

It's kind of strange, how the mountains pay us no attention at ll. You laugh or cry and the wind just keeps on blowing.

Anything over $15-16 each is too much for 40mm cans.

Ammo Cans.........

Army "surplus" stores are non-existent around here..........sometimes mail-order is the only alternative. I'm still happy with what I got.

No they don't have catalogs or any pricing on the net.

If you want or see something on the pictures just call them and ask. When I called and asked for 20mm ammo cans they knew what I wanted. When I was there over the Summer I saw two sets of mermite cans there also.
