Power Commander worth the $$$

Is a dynajet power commander worth the money? Does it really help the performance of a 2002 DL1000 enough to notice the difference?

Hi, the short answer is Yes, it does all of the above by Improving Performance. Think of the Power Commander as a coordinating tool that lets you tune your own bike, so that it gets the the right amount of air and the right amount of fuel at the right time.

The PC also allows you to make changes and to modify the delivery of air and fuel mixtures when you make changes to the components of your bike, like exhaust that changes how much, and the way air is going out the back of your bike, or the filter and how much air is available to go into the engine.

The PC lets you balance the air and fuel mixtures so that you get the optimum performance from your bike, in your area, with your conditions.

Is it a magic elixir? No, but it does work, it takes patience, and the really good news is that others have gone before and are willing to share their maps and experience. Personally I think that all fuel injected biked will benefit from a Power Commander, some more than others true.

Hope that helps,

Enjoy the ride, and best regards,
Blair
