tire info?

Hey does anyone have experience with a tire made my Bridgestone called the Battlax BT56? I have a 160rear and 120front stock on a 2001 bandit 600. The bike and tires only have 650 miles on them.

How are they for touring, dry and wet surface grip?

Had them on a Triumph. Not great tires IMO. Stick fair on dry pavement, fair to poor in my limited exposure to wet. Didn't last long either, about 3500 miles, but I push pretty hard. I wouldn't throw them away, but might not hang on to them til the last mm of tread before replacing them.

tire info

I am going to change out the Tourances I've had on the bike for the last 13,000 miles. The rear is almost gone but the front still has some mileage left on it. They have been good tires but I'm going to try the Bridgestone BT020s for a change. I'll report back on them after I get some miles on them. I sure hope I can get 3/4 of the wear of the Tourances.

Dunno.

I changed out my stock Suzuki tyres for Battlaxes on my Bandit. Of 5 bikes at work, 3 were Bandits and all of them ran on Battlaxes without any difficulty (and gawd knows it rains in Scotland!).

I changed up to a Strom and then changed out the stock tyres (again) to run Tourances, like the BMW tourers.

Another good decision. So far, so good. So I won't make any more decisions for a while in case my luck has run out.
