High ho the merry-o, a farkling I will go

I wanted some more room to carry small stuff. Did not need much room but am trying to make room to carry the laptop so I can upload photos and gps stuff, as well as check email away from home (my daughter worries).

Figured I needed a rack on my topcase so I came up with the idea of putting one on. I could not find something suitable around home so I went and bought 5 drawer pulls, picked up 10 allen head machine screws to fit (8-32). Then set to farkelizing.

The only problem I ran into was; the angle of the holes drilled into the compound curve have to match the angle that the threaded portion of the pull is when attaching screw. I had to ovalize a hole to get the screw to line up to thread on, then it leaked. Remedied with gasket sealer.

So hopefully here are photos;

I LOVE THE THREAD TITLE! Got my attention immediately (for reasons we will not discuss here!).

I'm either riding, or resting between rides....
