Timing retard eliminator

Anyone installed or used this device? It is plug and play available on eBay. I am wondering what if any effect it has on performance. Thanks.

I don't think TREs are for 650s. They don't have the "retard" function built into the ECU that the 1000s have to keep them from going too fast for their design.
