Will a K2 1000 front end fit on a K4 650?

Hey everyone,

Been having a few issues with my K4 650 front end (leaky fork seals, BMW master cylinder can't find parts for, missing a mirror, no handguards, want to replace front windshield) and I just so happen to have a local guy parting out a K2 DL1000 for dirt cheap.

My question is: Will the entire DL1000 front end fit on my DL650? (I guess the only real question is if the wires will match up to the headlight assembly)

OR

Would I be better off picking off the parts that I need (fork, mirror, windshield, etc) and will those parts fit?

Thanks!
