handlebar riser

hi all,

i am new on this site and i have briefly introduced my self here: https://www.stromtrooper.com/forums/s...949#post388949

i own k7 dl650-abs and i would like to rise the handlebar. i have read that the break hose is not long enough and should be changed when handlebar riser used. has anyone experienced this problem or is it just urban legend?

i am sure this isseu has been discussed before. however, as the search function disabled and there are 100's of page it would be easy for me to ask.

thank in advance for your inputs.

Yes, a longer front brake line is required when raising the bars on a Wee w/ ABS.

I have put these on my Wee (without ABS). http://www.barrisersonline.com/forwardrisers78.html.
For some unknown reason they call them forward risers, but I used them to raise the bars and put them farther back so that I could sit up straighter. It moves the bars about 2" diagonal distance. It stretches the cables to their limits, I cut some cable ties and replaced them later and I had to unbolt the P clip that secures the brake line and leave it unbolted. Everything works great.

Those look about the same as the GenMar risers.
