Talking blue sea fuse box

I js got a new fuse box with pos and neg terminals. I'm looking for some input on what to use for a positive feed. I want to run the terminals to be on only with the iginition on.
Thanks for the info, Drew

Here's what I followed:

http://11109.rapidforum.com/topic=11...rch=blue%2Csea

and you can pick up a switched wire from the brown tail light (DL650) in the wiring bundle running down the left of the frame. I just used a quick tap I had from my admore lighting kit.

I got the relay from radio shack. It works by using the current from the tail light passing through to ground to switch on the main power coming from the battery and going out to the BS.

I run my heated grips and admore lighting on my Givi through it. Works great.

Also, as you study the thread note the mention of a product by Eastern Beaver that is, I think, a plug-in adaptor that gives you easy access to switched power without tapping lines. And, I took the advice there about using a 30amp blade fuse between the battery and the relay. I picked up an inwire fuse from Advance Auto for a few bucks.

Garage
Here's a wiring diagram.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
