New EVO SW-Motech Racks and pelican 1440's?

I am seriously considering pelican 1440's for side cases on my K7 Wee. I am concerned that the new EVO SW-Motech rack will not be as user freindly to install the pelicans on as were the discontinued SW racks.

Have any of you installed this combo recently, new EVO SW-Motech racks and Pelican 1440s? If you have, do you have pics or will you comment on the installation process? I would be grateful for your help.

I don't have any experience with the new EVO SW-Motech racks, but if you find it won't work for you, I might be up for some sort of trade for the older SW motech racks for the new ones.

I have a set that were used on my '04 DL650. I kept them when I sold the bike and had planned to put them on my '07 DL650, but at this point, they are still in a box with all the mounting hardware. I haven't mounted them on this bike yet, so it would be easy to do a swap at this point.

Just a suggestion if it comes down to that.
