I pulled the exhaust system off to get the clearance, then found another forum and the suggestion was to slide the sleeve the bearings ride on out the other side. Gives enough clearance to get the bolt out.
On another note, just installed the Pat Walsh skid plate/engine guards. Couldn't get the side stand bolt off with a wrench and couldn't get my 1/2" drive socket and breaker in because of the exhaust.
Once again I pulled the exhaust. I'm down to about 2 minutes for removing every thing from the headers back :lol:
