About a year ago I read a write-up in one of the motorcycle magazines about a guy (I think in Florida) who modifies a stock seat. He cuts out a section of the stock foam and replaces it with some "stiff, medical grade memory foam", or something like that.
I want to do this job myself, but would not know where to start in purchasing this type of foam or even...where I could find it.
Supposedly this foam is stiffer than the stock foam. Supposedly, a riders ARSE bones don't press deep into the foam, like on the stock seat, allowing for hundreds of miles of riding comfort.
Can anyone help?
