Installing Fuse Block - Wiring Recommendations

I picked up a marine fuse block a few months ago and I'm ready to tackle installing it. I'd like it to be "switched" with the ignition, rather than hard-wired to the battery (to prevent parasitic drain on the battery when the bike's not running). I'm planning to run the positive cable through a relay to the battery, and close the circuit using a relay that's switched with the ignition.

Seems straightforward, and I'm sure a number of folks have done similar - which brings me to my question. Is there a sticky or a decent thread somewhere which shows how to do this? I'd love to have a guide. I've searched around the forum on various terms but haven't discovered anything yet.

Pointers or advice appreciated.

Here's a diagram. The blue wire for switched power can go to any of the sources in #3 at Basic V-Strom Wiring 101
Use a 30A fuse near the battery positive. There is also a thread at Aux Fuse Box Wiring - 101

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Yah, never mind LOL. I always find the right information AFTER I post the question.

The definitive thread, I believe: https://www.stromtrooper.com/dl1000a-...installed.html

Tons of links to other threads and such.
