Luggage Combination Questions

Hello all.

I believe I've decided on the ideal luggage setup (for me). Thinking it will be a Givi E52 topcase for weekend trips with the addition of Caribou 36L's for extended trips.

Can you help me with a couple of questions?

a) Are there any known compatibility issues with the above setup?
b) For the Givi top case, which is better, the Motech or Givi mount?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences and any help you can provide.

Regards,
Gary

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the Caribou's had to be permanently mounted. (At least that is how my buddies set-up is). They are great cases, but that is a huge draw-back. I love being able to pop off my Givi Side Cases in about 10 seconds.
