Just want to confirm that this kit will work with an '02 Vee:

And, are these the best directions on the web for doing the install?

Thanks,

Maybe it's a CCS-100 but not a good price. http://murpskits.com/catalog/product...ef4376d2a29505 is better, includes a vacuum reservoir, and better info. The instructions are for a DL650 which is close. More info including DL1000 specifics can be found in the threads at http://11109.rapidforum.com/area=97

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

I was under the impression that there is a full electronic version and a vacuum assisted version. I would prefer the electronic version if someone would point me towards it.

Isn't there a non-vacuum/electronic version of the Audiovox available...not the Rostra?

I was searching for that (and availability online) before I just decided to go with a Vista Cruise for now.

My understanding is that Rostra makes the Audiovox, so they're pretty much the same, except the Rostra is electronic. So the Rostra IS the electronic Audiovox version.

DL1000K6 Two wheels good; four wheels bad.
