Holeshot DL1000 exhaust is finally available!

Dale Walker finally got the exhaust finished for the big Strom. I am really excited, and have been waiting for these for a long time. They are pretty pricey IMHO, but his product is of the highest quality and service is top notch. If you want to hear what the Strom will probably sound like, check out the sound clips that are attatched in the SV1000 section of the site. They look beautiful on the bike, almost as if they were a factory option!!
Check them out..... http://www.holeshot.com/

I ordered mine today!

I was so excited after reading Brian's post and then speaking with Dale Walker himself, that I ordered up a pair of the powder black cans for my 2002 DL1000!

I expect delivery and installation to be complete by Friday the 30th of September with my first test ride being the famed Idyllwild loop in Southern California. If these cans sound and perform as good as they look, then it will be worth every penny! My former SV650S had one of Dale's cans and I loved how it helped turn the "sewing machine" into a mini-Ducati roar.

Stay tuned for further reports as they develop.

PS-Go Buckeyes? The USC Trojans are going for the threepeat!!!

It is easy to win "when you don't play anyone!!" I would like to see the Trojans try to compete with the Buckeyes defense! I remember a certain Miami team that underestimated the Bucks in the big game. Anyhow...... I am jealous of your purchase, the black powder coat cans are the best looking cans I have ever seen. My friend also has an SV650 with the high mount 14 inch holeshot... I agree it sounds AWESOME! Be sure to give feedback on your new cans. See ya....

Dale Walker Holeshot cans feedback

WOW! I am not sure that "WOW" is even a strong enough adjective to describe what the installation of the Holeshot Performance exhaust cans has done to my bike. Not only did it strip a lot of heavy weight positioned up high, but the looks are just dazzling and especially so how they tuck in to the license plate frame.

The sound is pure "Ducati-esque" thunder all the way. No more muted tone but just a solid V-twin bark that is very inspiring. It definitely seems to have woken up the sleeping TLR motor and solid thrust and responsiveness is available throughout the RPM range. Of all the mods done, I would have to say that this, followed closely by Race Tech Fork Springs, has been the best. If you want to find out that your V-Strom really is the TLR's brother, go talk to Dale and make a purchase.

Thanks for the update... sounds like they are worth the money. I am considering buying the Scorpion slip ons, and having my buddy black powder coat them at his machine shop "for free"!! Holeshots do sound awesome on vtwin sport engines.
