5-" throttle sleeve to fit 2002 dl1000

I am looking for a solution for an issue. I am updating my heated grips. The set I have purchased are Oxford Heaterz Premium Adventure Heated Grips. The overall length of the throttle sleeve needs to be 5-" to fit a ⅞" bar. Long story about why I am having to upgrade...

I know of no such tube. Oxfords normally come in different sizes and/or allow trimming. The literature for your grips says overall grip length is 5.19" and can be trimmed to a minimum length of 4.80" without damaging the heating elements. V-Strom grips are about 4.25". It appears you bought the wrong grips for your bike.

Maybe some Oxford owners can tell you which grip models fit.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
