"Beak" is all mounted up!!

I've been mulling over a beak and what fender to get(me and the other 4 people who like beaks.. LOL ). I've had one on backorder for over a month now.

I had a friend of mine give me this UFO universal dirtbike fender to mock up and test out.

Got it all mounted today. I need to take it back off and locktight things and clean up my cuts on the fender etc... But

Its mounted to the lower triple tree and turns from lock to lock with no rubbing anywhere. I'm very happy with it, to me it looks like it should have come that way.

Looks off-roady, I like it.
Is there any reason you couldn't keep the original front fender complete (not counting aesthetics)?

Beaks, such as on a GS are wide, short and stiff, possibly serving an aerodynamic purpose. Let us know if yours flexes or moves around. Someone else may have to look for you.

Cheers,
Neil
