Well I got the Holeshots delivered 'bout 2 hours ago and they are on and have thier first ride on 'em. All I can say is WOW! The engine revs sooooo much easier and faster. The bike used to struggle to get over 120 MPH, now she ripped past 130 (indicated, dont have the GPS mount here yet) and I dont even have the TFI or the K&N installed yet. She definatly runs a bit lean (lean surge upon decel) but that is to be expected 'til the TB's are re-tuned by the TFI. Roll on wheelie's in first and second are a breeze too, this is how a liter class V-twin should run by gosh! The sound is very deep and throaty but not ear splitting like all of the Hardley Davidsons 'round here, click it up a gear or two and she just purr's right along. I swear that I can tell a difference in handling too from losing all of that weight but I'll need a few more miles to be sure.
Well back to the garage, Ive got stainless brake lines, EBC pads, TFI, K&N, ProTaper bars, new grips, a Scotts steering stabilizer and a 16 tooth CS sprocket to install so's I can go ride this weekend.
