D.I.Y. Seat Mod ?

http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/Seats.html

If you scroll all the way down, it describes a do it yourself seat mod with memory foam,
anybody try this?
I ordered a 12x12 x 1 inch thick piece of memory foam from the local Ace Hardware store (apholstry shop in the back), for $6, and will give this a try...

http://11109.rapidforum.com/topic=109072312735 This guy tried it. You gotta love the rusty 40lb. luggage rack with the sharp edges.

Best. Post. Evar.

That little patch of foam is not worth the effort. I've added memory foam to a larger area over the stock foam to add thickness and did little for comfort.

To that other link, that is PATHETIC. They should be embarrassed to actually show that mess to anyone.

I will do my full mod and the end result will be professional quality work. Not a POS. It can be done if you know what your doing. A very sharp knife, a 3" sanding disc on a right angle die grinder and sanding block with 80 grit is what I use for the foam work.
