I installed the SV cams this past Spring and have only rode the bike locally since. Other mods are Akrapovic slip-ons, K&N, and PC III. I just got back from a trip to Key West that included about 1,700 miles of riding. The Miami traffic on I 95 was where I was able to put the mods to work and they performed superbly!! At about 6K RPMs and above, the engine has great power in 6th gear. Rarely did I need to downshift into 5th. What fun it was to be able to maneuver in and out of tight traffic while zipping along at 80mph+. Oil venting increased at this high speed so I wasn't surprised. Overall, I added a total of about 1/3 quart of oil. I lubed the chain at the end of every day while keeping it tensioned and aligned with my the L-Cat. The "06 Wee performed flawlessly with no breakdowns or issues. We rode round trip from just south of Chipley, Fla to Key West and back. We had to ride an extra 300 miles to avoid stormy weather around the Tampa area. My friend was riding an '07 Kawasaki Nomad 1600. The interstate road riding was tedious and from Miami south on hwy 1 was a major pain as the many traffic lights were unsinc'd. Looks like a new clutch is around the corner. Key West was unique and quite fun as we stayed in a private condo. Loved the tropical plants and iguanas.
