BT020 160?

Just curious. Has anyone stepped up to the 160 Battleaxe on their stock rim? I'm sure swingarm clearance isn't an issue, but was wondering if the rim is. This tire performed very well for me on my other bike, and since my DL will be seeing 95% pavement, I will probably be transplanting a set after my stock rear's kaput. I want to make sure the extra rubber will fit and not slide off the back  in my first corner.

It should fit, since some strommers are running ME880s on their bike which are 160/17-17. The only concern is that it will raise the bike a little more.

I put a 150 bto20 on my bike after noting that bridgestone recommends a rim wider than the strom's for a 160.

I think you would be happier with the 150 if you are planning on staying with the 110 in front. The 160 will more than likely make the steering heavier. This is why you see guys switching from the stock 190/50 to 180/55 or 190/55 on sportbikes.

I'll let you know since a 160 should show up on my front porch tomorrow

Is this the same Velociraptor from Speedzilla? Do you still have an RC?

Yep, I'm the same guy. My RC51 is track only now.
