Shifter from Tourtech

Has anyone installed the shifter from tourtech? Does it fit properly? It looks alittle smaller than the OEM..

Yep...

have one on mine. When you replace it you have to remove all the linkage that Suzuki uses and the new shifter bolts directly to the shift rod. About a 3 on the mechanic skill level.

I looked on site and it says only for the V not the Wee. Are we talking V here or does it fit the Wee? Mike in Fremont, ca.

It's made for the Vee with installation including the linkage. It will work on the Wee if installed directly on the shifter shaft without the linkage. The shift pattern will be changed to one up and five down though.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Sorry. That's right. The difference is the linkage configuration. Both lose the linkage but the Vee stays in the usual direction. The Wee reverses.
