Front Highway Pegs

I have Pat Walsh Crash bars on my weestrom. I want to add hiway pegs and I thought I read somewhere that the PW bars had a place to mount them already. Is that what that hole is for? If so, that seems too high to be comfortable. I'm 6"2 and lower down on the bar would work much better for me.
If the hole is not for hiway pegs, what is it for?

Thanks for the link, but I am wondering what that hole is for on the Pat Walsh crashbars. Is that where you are supposed to mount the pegs? If not what is it there for??

Is your fender hitting the crash bar?

No. The fender does have scratches in it but I don't know what caused em. I bought the bike used, (prescratched!!). There is lots o' clearnance between crash bars and fender.

Hi all, new here and first post:

I am looking seriously at a 1000 and was wondering the same thing.

I gotta have some hyway pegs. Where and how will I mount them.
I am a fabricator so I will have some, but I dont like to reinvent the wheel unless I need too.

Like these pegs?

Hi, L3w,

Have a look at eBay item 160098996116. That item is long gone, but I think the seller makes them. If you are a resourceful fabricator, perhaps careful study of these pegs will let you replicate them for yourself.

A quick glance show me these are minimal, strong, and neat.

Good luck, and good hunting.
