Powder coated wheels

I had posted another thread about getting my wheels powder coated but couldn't find it so here is a new one with pics of the wheels. The fellow did and excellent job on them, even smoothed out the small casting bumps that were cast into them. If anyone lives in the Akron, Ohio area and needs powder coating look them up. Summit Powder Coaters. I'll post some shot with them on the bike when I get them balanced and remounted.

$100.00 per wheel. That was to media blast them, mask them where needed and shoot them. I had a backrest bracket done a couple of years ago at a different outfit and they charged me $90.00 for that so I think the wheels were a good deal.

Can you post a pic or two once the wheels are back on the bike?

Cheers!

I put the wheels back on this morning after getting them balanced. The front only took 1/4 ounce and the rear took nothing. The tires must be made well. Here's some more pics with it back together.
