New screen

Got home from vacation and my Euro only screen had arrived from Scotland. I think I'm the first in North America to have it.

So, how did you get it here?

Order direct or have someone buy there and ship here?

I had the friend in Scotland order it from his local dealer then he sent to me. Labeled as a gift for customs purposes.

If Suzuki made this the standard screen it would eliminate most complaints about buffeting etc.

Have you been able to run it through the wringer so to speak?? What are your impressions so far? Stock mount or Madastad?

I've been contemplating either that screen or an MP shorty for warm weather. I prefer the looks of the Euro Zuk shield with the small creases and the tint. Thought of cutting down my stocker but there would still be a turned up lip which I think has a lot to do with everyones complaints.

So come on, spill the beans!!

Like most I've tried many screens with little success. I finally just cut 4" off the stock screen and was satisfied. The new Euro screen is much like the shortened stocker. The wind blast hits me at helmet level but it's a smooth flow. No buffeting and minimal wind roar. I like it better than the cut down stocker.

I now hear the whistling of my helmet vents. Time for a RF1000 to replace my aged RF800.

Much like riding a naked bike. I was in rain and fog today. The rain drops sheet off cleanly and I stay dry other than helmet and arms.

Let's go!
