Heated Grip Alternative

My searches don't find any Stroms using this type of grip heater . . . has anyone tried this heater? or is it my turn to be the lab rat?

Firstly, you would lose your bar end-weights, and I gotta wonder how well the throttle side would work. I dont see much, or any heat transfer thru the throttle tube.

So yes, You are the Rat...

I have looked an and thought about these since fall. They were originally sold as snowmobile handlebar heaters. You can keep the bar weights with them installed. I too worried about heat lost from the bar dissapating heat, but REALLY like the idea of not having to mess with the grips to get warmth. There is a website that goes through an install and the guy dos a real slick job of it (probably more than I would do). He drills the bar and the risers/bar mount at the same place so you see no wires coming out of the bar. If you end up getting them please let us know how they work!
