Well, so far no luck with those nuts. Those things are REALLY welded in there! They don't seem to move at all so I'm not so sure they are contributing to the vibration. But check this out... I had the box off, bike on centerstand, in neutral, I was standing on the right side of the bike goosing the throttle. I looked at the rack and every time i got the throttle to around 5k or so, the top plate on the rack actually BOWED! It flexed becoming higher in the middle! That's how much vibration there is back there. Is the rack the problem, or is the rack vibrating as an end result of something else that's vibrating? That's what I'm trying to figure out. And because of the brake light wiring from my Givi box, I can't remove the rack without removing the wiring which is a major PITA.
But if the rack is vibrating that bad, of course the Givi and all it's plastic reflectors and other panels are vibrating like mad, i'm sure. :mad:
