Actually have all the numbers dialed in for a 2012 DL1000 Adventure. Waiting on financing, and then I'll be taking a trip on Friday to make the trade. This is going to be the first bike I've ever owned... I'm very excited. I've driven sport bikes and cruisers, and I'm thinking this is the bike for me.
Out the door price w/ title and doc fees was $9100... and they're giving me $5500 for my trade. I told the wife that I couldn't afford not to buy it, lol.
Anyway, before I buy anything I always check forums for common problems, and what kind of resources are available for maintenance. This place is great, and I'm looking forward to yucking it up with the folks on here.

I'm curious, if this is your first bike to ever own, what are you trading in?

My only other toy... a 2009 KQ 750 AXi w/ EPS...

I've got $11k invested, and less than 400 miles on it, in 3+ years. It was time to get something I will use.

Update: it's now in my garage with temp plates. Very excited for spring now! I'll be looking forward to some group rides.
