Approved for the new WEE adventure

I had the day off yesterday, so I stopped by my local dealer and put in my application for a NEW Wee Adventure. I was approved for 0% for 5 years through Suzuki!!

The only reason I am not riding my brand new Wee right now, is that I am waiting for the dealer to work with me on my trade in.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they will come through, we are so close.

If this falls through, I guess I will try my luck at another dealer in town.

Regardless, I am excited about the opportunity to experience a new style of riding.

I already know that I want some bark busters, new seat, bottom skid plate, and top rear pannier.

You want a whole LOT more than that, you just don't know it yet.
I envy you and know the hours of farkeling enjoyment that lay ahead.

Thanks guys. I am still battling it out with the finance department.
I understand that they need to make $$, and trust me. They are. On both the trade in and the sale of the last '12 Wee Strom adventure.

It is going to come down to their additional fees for prep and freight etc that will either make or break the deal.

They will have a customer for life if they get this to go through.

I will need farkles, oil changes, adjustments, wear and tear replacements, new riding gear etc.

Good luck! That's what I thought when I bought my Vee, but after spending time on this site I now buy online and do all my own maintenance!

This was a surprise for me as topping up windshield washer fluid was the limit of my mechanical ability before that!

As far as farkles go, my dealer has little to offer.

I never had any luck with trade-ins at the dealers around here. Selling the bike privately is the only way to get a decent price.

Go hakafugu yourself.

I agree that selling outright is the way to go. But I hate dealing with the craigslist weirdos.
That is why I will allow the dealer to make money on the trade in, but dont drag me over the coals for your last year's model bike.

I am a reasonable person (my wife would say differently) and if they dont want to make a deal and work with me , there are other places that will take my money.

This isnt the last Wee ever made, and rates will stay down for a while. (maybe not 0%) but low enough.

I just got off the phone with the dealer.

I have a good feeling that they are going to take my offer. If so I may need to call in to work tomorrow!!

Cool Congrats!!

Congrats on the new bike! I just bought one of the last 2012 dl650s in the midwest here where I live and I am also pretty stoked about this bike! I am sure we will both get a lot of fun and use out of the bike. Good luck with your new purchase.
