Is there any recommended suspension upgrades for this bike to improve handling.

Just depends on how much money you want to spend, there are many options.

When you sat "handling", are you speaking about road or dirt?

The least expensive, and first step I would take, is to get your suspension set up properly by a suspension specialist.....this can make huge difference....cheap and effective.

Look it depends on what you want .
things that work are
Fork Brace
new front springs
New rear shocks
improved front end ( raceteck etc )

BETTER tires
better brakes ( allows you to work that new suspesion )

rider training .

Remember this is no super moto , motorcross or Moto GP bike . It's an all round great bike.

It really depends on what you want to do with the bike. At the minimum, appropriate springs are in order, front and rear. The .7 kg springs in the front are way too soft if you're anything heavier than a tiny Japanese man.
