My wife loves the the DL to ride on. And, I like it when I am not riding with her. I can change the bike from Touring (bigger shield, barbacks, drop the forks, add the bags) to sport (no bar backs, raise the forks, small shield, no bags) to dirt (take off the lowers, no bar backs, small shield, lower tire pressure, just the trunk) in 30 minutes. Try that with a Connie or FJR. And it does not weigh 650 lbs, generate a ton of heat, or cost $14K, although I have over $10K in mine with all the farkles. I bet I could hit $14K if my wife'd let me.
