Are different color tank covers interchangeable? Was next question

So, I'm very happy with my purchase of the 2014 650 V Strom Adventure. However, I really love the red color that's available on the base model. Does anyone know if the fuel tank covers on both the 2014 base model and the 2014 adventure model are exactly the same? Thinking of changing them out for the red and maybe leaving the front and back covers grey.

They are the same except for the 3 digit color code at the end of the part number. Each cover is well over $100 though.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Thanks! Yeah I'm seeing about $125 ea. I was worried because the parts warehouses have some pretty poor return policies. They also weren't able to tell me if they would fit my bike.

Someone recently posted a thread where they taped off the colored part of the front cowling and painted it. Came out very nice.
