Being slow doesn't make a boring bike. I had a R1 which I thought was boring. Boring is a bike that doesn't speak to you. If you like what your bike is saying let it's voice take you to far flung places. - Vertical C

AS for panniers. I went with Happy Trails pannier racks and Pelican 1550 cases. Durable, lockable, water/dust proof and relatively inexpensive. Buying new racks and cases total cost is about $500 for lots of good storage. Or keep and eye out for used cases that pop up all the time and save a few dollars.

As for the rest I'm in the ride it for a while and see what you do/don't like camp.

Anything else you would suggest. Plus, what accessory would you try and work in in the final sale.

I've owned my Wee for 24 months now. I've done a lot to it, but what I consider essential (I wouldn't wait to purchase) are:
1) new windscreen. The buffeting clobbered my ear drums. Givi makes a nice screen, but there are several others too.
2) engine guards and bash plate. That oil cooler and filter... they are just begging for a rock to kick into them.
3) Center stand: I waited a year to buy mine, and that was 12 months too many. Everything is easier when it has a center stand.

The rest is personal preference. I've gone with soft side bags so far, but will add hard luggage sometime before the summer of '18 (only because my big annual trip next year will be Utah to Central NY). I have giant Tusk hand guards, and I simply don't ride under 40 degrees, so heated grips haven't been necessary so far. I've got an eye on a Scott oiler, as well as LED headlamps. I replaced the brittle, enormous front turn signals, and will do the rear signals when it's a bit warmer.

Top Box to keep helmet, etc in. The top box is the best luggage storage device to have on the bike. You will get the most use out of it versus a tank bag or panniers. It makes life much easier.

If you are tall, a larger windshield would also be a great buy and will make your life much easier in the long run.

Power commander would be my no. 1 choice after that you can go a million different ways depending on where, when and how you’re going to ride it.

For me #1 skid plate (bike came W crash bars and skid plate)

#2 replace the crappy original locks on luggage.

#3 Givi Windshield

I want a center stand but that's on my nice to have but not a must list.
