Handguards

Does the hanguards off of a 2015 1000 fit a 2015 650 vstrom. If not why?

No they don't. The 650 has a cable clutch and the 1000 has a hydraulic clutch. The attachment points on the left are totally different for one thing.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
See https://www.stromtrooper.com/general-...nicknames.html

Please vote in the poll on what Strom(s) you have at https://www.stromtrooper.com/informat...-you-have.html

And also the 650 has a plunger switch on the clutch side. Or do they both?

I'm sorry, I stand corrected. I could have sworn that was one of the things I swapped from my XT to my V2.
