is torque in new XT version better?

Hi,
is it true that torque is improved at low revs in new v-strom xt?
I saw this note on suzuki site:

Quote:
The V-Strom 650XTís four-stroke, DOHC, 645cm3 90-degree V-twin engine is ready for full-range riding enjoyment. It offers the distinctive beat feel of a V-twin, ample torque for easy handling at low and mid-range revs, and powerful performance at the high end of the rev range. A broad powerband makes for smooth going on steep mountain passes, open highways, and crowded city streets. Plus, great fuel economy ensures a class*-leading riding range.

The only differences between the XT and any other Glee are the spoked wheels and the beak. The rest of the claims were lifted from the Glee literature and are comparisons to the Wee.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Please vote in the poll on what Strom(s) you have at https://www.stromtrooper.com/informat...-you-have.html
