Sight unseen V or local Wee?

I've read countless threads on V versus Wee, test rode both of the new models last week, and am inclined toward the V.

Finding a V locally, however, isn't going to happen--there are none to be had. There is an '05 in the for sale section that has caught my eye. Pretty much stock, and would cost me the same, once I ship it to Utah, as a Wee available locally that comes with:

Suzuki Gel Seat
Dual Headlight Modulator
Suzuki Tank Bra
SW Motech Skid Plate
SW Motech Engine Guards
Acerbis Duel Road Handguards
JC Whitney Top Trunk
Stebel Horn, wiring harness & mount
Madstad Adjustable Windshield Mount
License plate stash box
Ride-On Tire Sealant
Swing Arm Spools
Givi Windscreen d260st
Givi Luggage Racks for Sidebags
Givi Side Luggage
Super Brace Fork Brace
Oxford Heated Grips
Mirror Riser/Extenders
Protaper OHV Bars
Bar Risers
Bridgestone Battlewing Tires w 3k miles

Both bikes are within a year of each other ('05 versus '06) and within 1000 miles of each other (12k versus 13k). Any strong biases one way or another? I'm a little apprehensive about buying sight unseen, but experiences doing so on here and advrider seem to be positive.

You'll probably like the agile Wee more for canyon riding. That Wee has a couple of important farkles and many useful ones.

Anyone disagree?...order of riding pleasure (pure power aside), starting with the best, new 1000, new 650, old 650, old 1000. I know, LOTS of room for discussion, but speaking very generally.

"Older people who are reasonable, good-tempered, and gracious will bear aging well. Those who are mean-spirited and irritable will be unhappy at every period of their lives.

"Let each of use properly whatever strengths he has and strive to use them well. If he does this, he will never find himself lacking."

If it was me, I would go with the 06 Wee that is for sale locally. Being a SLC resident myself I have seen the ad. That is a nice looking bike with a lot of good add-ons and low miles. Plus it is red.

The big question is are you willing to go with the 650 instead of the 1000?

If you do go with the 06 Wee, do realize that you are paying for a lot of the add-ons with the way it is currently priced. If everything checks out mechanically, I would still drop your offer by another $600 to $700 and see if the seller is willing to accept it.

Thanks for the input. For better or for worse, I put a deposit on the 1000 and am arranging shipping. Call me a heretic, but I prefer black to red and not by a little bit.
