Need advice on mods

Hello Troopers,
I am getting a 2011 650 ABS tomorow.
It is a little tall for me, what is the best way to lower it?
Which aftermarket lowering links work the best?
Which of the available seats reduce seat height and provide comfort?
Is there an aftermarket wind screen that would provide additional protection for wind and the weather?
I can't wait to ride!
Thanks, Wayne

That makes no sense. I'm a new owner as well and I have some of the same questions but I will figure them out!

B is saying use the google search on the front page of this site. All these topics have been covered and the threads have some excellent information. Just dig around a little and enjoy the reading.

Do a search for "lowering links" or checkout AdventureTech they can lower your bike up to 7/8".

Be aware you may need to modify the kick stand as well.

Tons of seat options out there. Look for "shorter Seat" that may help.

There are sticky threads on windscreens. Lots of options. Madstad bracket is very popular way to make any screen more adjustable.

What Ty said. I have Adventure Tech (AdventureTech, LLC. - Home) raising links and they are excellent quality. He makes a selection of lowering links from 1/2" to 7/8" in stainless steel, aluminum, and powder coated steel.
