Cape Town

Hi fellow stromtroopers. If you are in Cape Town, South Africa and need a friend, feel free to give me a call. I currently own a dl650 (weestrom) and am really enjoying it. I have lots of riding buddies with various machines including BMW GS's, but I still like my strom! So far in our group there are 4 of us with stroms. Just a few KM out of Cape Town we have the most incredidble roads for bikers! Great variety from sea rides to winelands! Fast, open or tight and windy - we have it all! If ur in town, I can be contacted on cell 0730702078.

Hi Pablo. I am live in Durbanville, and own a Wee Strom. Maybe once you have had enough replies, we can organise an introductory Strom ride

Hi Bradley

Ja this is Pablo here. Live in Table View, so am quite close. Proper name is Paul, but mates call be Pablo. I work at Killarney race track - in the main clubhouse, so if you're in the area please pop in for a drink or something to eat (you don't have to be a member of the club). I'm sure we can get together some time and arrange a ride. I belong to a group called the MOTH Motorcycle Association. We are all ex-servicemen (border boys) - a great group to ride with. We also belong to the larger organisation called MOTH (Memorable Order of Tin Hats). If you are old enough to have done some form of military service, then you will enjoy tjhis group. If not, you are always welcome as a visitor. Incidently, our MOTH clubhouse is also situated at Killarney race track. Come visit some time...
Regards
Pablo

Howzit Pablo. Thanks for the reply. Yes, you are indeed just around the corner. I didn't know the MOTHS had a Motorcycle Association. I am 45 years old, did my two years Military Service, 13 months of which where on the border. I was with the Engineers. I will definitely make a plan to come over and introduce myself. Regards
