Cross Country Trip

I'm shipping my Strom from NY to LA, then riding it back home. I've got a companion for the first half (5 days). Looking to ride with others from Grand Canyon to NY.

Here's the itinerary:
May 25, 2016...Day 1: LA to SanLuis Obispo
Day 2: Napa, CA
Day 3: Lake Tahoe, CA
Day 4: Hoover Dam
Day 5: Grand Canyon
Day 6: Durango, CO
Day 7: Taos, NM
Day 8: Boise City, OK
Day 9: Wichita, KS
Day 10:Winona, MS
Day 11:Church Hill Downs, KY
Day 12:Greenbrier, WV
Day 13:Frederick, MD
Day 14:New York

Would love the company any leg of the trip.

Are you going to SLO on Hwy 1 or taking back roads?
101/1 isn't that interesting for some portions. Then again any road one hasn't ridden before is worth it once.

When are you doing this? Depending on timing I wouldn't mind riding with you around Taos area for a few hours anyway.

My mom grew up in Westchester.

Taking lots of PCH and alternate roads on northward journey in CA. Never road before...like you say, doing once is worth it.

I think I can make the SLO to Napa leg and then up to the lake the following day. Is the Napa stop a firm stop? Sacramento is about 60 more miles towards Tahoe. But taking 50 the lake is only about 100 miles from Sac. So we can take a longer way up to the lake. Either way I can meet up somewhere. I am thinking you are staying on pavement all the way?
