If you guys are going to Three Bananas I'd like to meet you guys for a ride. I'm going to be in and out of the state in June but maybe it will be when I'm here!

So cool to see you both posting.

Hi Jim!!

Glad to see you are still riding. I was really hoping to hook up with you again. When I get back with the bike (after Memorial Day) I 'm going to see if Roy leads those rides in the central part of the state anymore.

And we shall ride!

After you're back with the bike, I'll step up and offer up one of my rides based on what you want.

Ride fun.

Hi Guys, I'm back and on the Guzzi. It's really sweet. It isn't all that different from the Vee. I drove it from Indiana with more than half spent tires and the genius I am decided to spend 2 full days zipping around Dragon World for a couple days. Got the photos and the T shirt.

So when we riding? Everyone, I'm still at [email protected]

See you out there

Rod,

More power to you for getting away with it. I once passed up a great deal on a bike because the Georgia state DMV refused to give me any kind of transport license so I could ride it back to Florida.

I rode a Guzzi once and was mightily impressed with its quality.

Another "Blast from the Past"

Hey guys....Hello from Birmingham, AL formerly Ocala, FL. I just logged-in after a 2 year absence and see a lot of familiar names still posting. My memory is bad though and I can't remember the name of that bakery in Rod's post. Those were some fun rides.

If anyone ever comes to visit Barber's Motorsport you have to look me up. They have basements up here (Man Caves) so I can host a group. Hope all is well.

Hey Tom, how the heck are you? What kind of bike do you have now if you do? I'm trying to remember the progression.... concours; st1300; wee strom; vfr; a couple bmw's

I didn't go back and look at Rod's bakery post but he had to be talking about Yalaha Bakery if it had to do with our rides.

Ride fun!

Roy....You still have a license? I know you are still blasting through the twisties at 90mph.

Still on the RT since I last saw you but have only ridden it maybe two full days in 15 months. As a matter of fact....I can't say I know anyone with a bike. The biking community just kind of died. The BMW dealer even closed their doors last year. It is because they didn't serve Sweet Tea or BBQ though.

Florida rocks for biking!!! Take care....ride safe!

Tom

P.S. Yahala Bakery...Thanks

I'm still riding

Rod and friends in this post,

Like the title says, I'm still riding. Traded the V-Strom for a FJR1300. As Rod stated, shaft drive, abs, and adjustable windscreen.

Trying to make the C2C ride next month, still up in the air.

Loved looking at the picture at the Yalaha Bakery. Great times and great people.
Rod plz get in touch [email protected]

Just rode with Bill and Lou and Mike.

Me 2

It's good to hear from you, Jim. I am sure you enjoy your fine ride,
but it has much more power than an old fella like myself can ever use.

My Wee-Strom is still going strong, and has carried me all the way to
Canada in the spring, and halfway there in August, so that I could
escort a long-time friend to visit his girlfriend of the 1950s,
in the distant village of New Smyrna Beach.

For the C2C, I will be riding a 2008 Honda CBR-125R,
and Curtis (weestrom05 here) will be on his older Honda 125,
so he and I will either share the prize for smallest engine,
or else be beaten by someone on something even smaller.

I suggest you ride in the C2C; it is always fun, and this year we
have the benefit of a proven and very enjoyable route. We go
through Howie-in-the-Hills, and perhaps via Julie-of-the-Curves
as well. That is probably a very scenic town, if we can find it!

I look forward to seeing you one of these days.
Keith
